As summer rolls in, there’s a motif overtaking New York—and it’s not florals. It’s Tiffany & Co.’s Hardwear Collection, which can be seen on billboards towering over Houston; on Uptown powerhouses whose warm-weather wardrobes reveal delicate chains encircling the wrist; and last night, on painter Anna Weyant.

The artist stands sentinel in the jewelry house’s new campaign for the line, wearing diamond-encrusted links of gold alongside actors Greta Lee and Mikey Madison. The soft, romantic affect of the imagery harkens back to Hardwear’s origins—it was pulled from a 1962 chain link bracelet inspired by the enduring resilience of New York. In 2017, Tiffany reimagined the links as a handcrafted testament to the people, or places, we love.

On its Landmark terrace overlooking Fifth Avenue, Tiffany gathered friends of the house and its latest campaign star, Weyant, for a toast to the season. The painter arrived in the gold and diamond Graduated Link Necklace from the shoot, as well as the collection’s Link earrings and bracelet. She was joined by guests including Phoebe Gates; actors Laura Harrier and Chase Sui Wonders; model Georgia Fowler; singer Ruby Aldridge; artists Chase Hall and Sasha Gordon; and culinary tastemaker Andy Baraghani.

Aldridge lent her ear to the music for the evening by stepping behind the DJ booth, as guests enjoyed Ruinart’s Blanc de Blancs and a meal by chef Daniel Boulud. The florals that draped the tablescape and pleasant summer weather may be a fleeting luxury, but one thing is for sure, Hardwear will be around far longer than the season.
