A champagne fueled soiree in the Hamptons? Sounds like the perfect event for the original Carrie Bradshaw. I couldn’t help but wonder, would the original Sex and the City writer Candace Bushnell be in attendance at Dom Pérignon’s new vintage premiere in all her kitten-heeled glory?

Well, of course. Bushnell was one of the many star-studded guests at Dom Pérignon’s luxurious Hamptons estate takeover to launch Exploration of Tactility, an immersive experience offering a peek inside the inner workings of the brand. The author was seen alongside guests including actor Naomi Watts, model Camila Morrone, actor Evan Mock, chef Rōze Traore, singer Kilo Kish, and others.

Thursday evening, guests arrived on the luscious 21-acre estate via yacht where they were plied with coupes of Dom Pérignon. The evening continued with a gastronomic experience curated by Chef Francis Mallmann, the Argentinian chef known for his seven-fire cooking technique. Each course evoked a sensory revelation, drawing inspiration from the brand’s offerings, including the newly unveiled Vintage 2015 and Vintage 2006 Plénitude 2.

The evening continued with a musical performance from an ethereal floating platform. Afterwards, guests cozied up for intimate toasts around the firepit led by Dom Pérignon's Chef de Cave, Vincent Chaperon. The event remained grounded throughout by an ethos of tactility, a study of the intersections between texture, sense, and aged bottles.

In the coming weeks, the French maison is taking Exploration of Tactility on a national tour with various events in New York, Washington DC, and Chicago. The perfect opportunity to venture into the sparkling world of Dom Pérignon.
