In the midst of the Miami Art Week whirlwind, CULTURED, Hexclad, Matte Projects, and Polina Berlin Gallery came together to raise a toast to women in the arts. Last night, guests flocked to the soon-to-be-opened Delilah Miami, a modern supper club in the heart of Brickell, for cocktails and conversation in the lush restaurant, presented by the elevated cookware company.

The night saw an array of guests, including artist Avery Wheless, entrepreneur Jessie Andrews, gallerist Polina Berlin, Hexclad’s Jason Panzer and Cole Mecray, gallerist Tara Downs, Lexa’s Alex Moli and Alex Nikolov, Coplan Kaufman, model Peter Brant Jr., and the h.wood Group team—John Hines, Chris Feradouros, Tony Lapenna, Adam Koral, Jake Zamore, and Seth Miller.

Hexclad treated guests to specialty cocktails, a caviar and carving and sautée station while, in the background, the brand’s signature hybrid cookware stood frozen in towering blocks of carved ice. Just last year, the company, founded by Daniel Winer and Cole Mecray, was recognized on the Inc. 5000 list as one of the country’s fastest growing brands.

Berlin made her way around the room, fresh off a successful outing at NADA with artists Carrie Rudd and Tamo Jugeli. Back at home in New York, her eponymous gallery, which opened last year in a 2,000 square foot former townhouse, is showing work by Markeidric Walker on the Upper East Side.

Fellow New Yorkers Brett Kincaid, Matt Rowean, and Angus MacEwant of Matte Projects—the creative house behind projects with brands like Cartier, Bose, Hermès, Grey Goose, and more—struck a balance between a decadent party and intimate gathering with rhinestone-coated dancers prowling between velvet couches. Illuminated under chandeliers calling back to the roaring 1920s, attendees danced to the beats spun by Chloé Caillet and Isabella Massenet.

The collaborative evening called attention to the women bolstering the arts economy, many of whom currently have work on display or are participating in Miami Art Week, including co-host Berlin and CULTURED’s own founder and editor-in-chief, Sarah Harrelson. As the night wore on, guests tapered off to prepare for the next busy day, namely the public opening of the week’s centerpiece: Art Basel Miami Beach.
