L.A.-based painter Sarah Cain likes to stretch what her chosen medium can accomplish. On September 8, she unveils her latest breakthrough, a monumental floor painting that will consume 2,500 square feet of Galerie Lelong.
Part of her solo show, “Dark Matter,” the walkable work will create an immersive environment for visitors. This piece also gives a glimpse into Cain’s future: “I can envision all sorts of new works based on the advances made here.”
