In Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein, Oscar Isaac has on his breeches, Jacob Elordi dons a towering cowl, and former CULTURED cover star Mia Goth is draped in Tiffany & Co. For the house’s first Netflix partnership, the filmmaker was able to dig into the archive and pull 20th-century high jewelry creations for Goth to wear. She can be seen in a garland of diamonds and Louis Comfort Tiffany string of glass beetles during the retelling of Mary Shelley’s classic monster tale, alongside a selection of contemporary pieces that ground the film in the present.
The Occassion: To celebrate the theatrical release of the film, and Tiffany & Co.’s first foray with the streaming juggernaut, del Toro, the cast, and a coterie of other fashion and film insiders gathered at the Manhattan Landmark building for a toast and display of the film’s singular costuming.

The Scene: To welcome guests inside, the Landmark’s front window displays were redesigned in collaboration with del Toro and Netflix to peer into Victor Frankenstein’s laboratory, onto key scenes from the film. Inside, lightning bolts, much like the one that animates Frankenstein’s monster, were cast along the floor-to-ceiling windows, encasing mannequins outfitted in Goth’s gowns and jewels.
The Crowd: Alongside Goth, Elordi, Isaac, and del Toro, the evening’s attendees included artist Julian Schnabel, actors Mark Strong and Sandra Bernhard, Tiffany & Co. President and CEO Anthony Ledru, set designer Kate Hawley, and designer TyLynn Nguyen.
Cause for FOMO: Inspecting Goth’s costumes alongside the actor herself. But, fear not, the Landmark’s Frankenstein installation, “Awaken Love,” will be on view through Nov. 3 with all the same glittering pieces. You’ll just have to go see the film if you want to see Goth step into them.
