What better way is there to celebrate the launch of a golden essence than at golden hour above New York? Last night, luxury skincare line La Prairie and CULTURED did just that on One Vanderbilt’s towering 72nd floor, with panoramic views of the skyline as the sun set behind one of the city’s most iconic buildings.

The Scene: Guests milled about standing tables and up to the mirrored bar, where they swiped champagne flutes and flipped through copies of CULTURED’s latest publication, covered by artist Sophie Calle. On the other end of the room, a different kind of bar was stationed, stocked with La Prairie’s latest and the most popular products from the brand’s Pure Gold collection.

The Locale: Attendees mingled inside One Vanderbilt’s glass expanse and out on the terrace, which was complete with views of the Chrysler building, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, and the winding East River.

The Crowd: Spotted amongst the fray were guests including La Prairie Group President North America Nicholas Munafo; Ivy Getty; Fern Mallis; gallerists Destinee Ross-Sutton and Sara Blazej; writer Everett Williams; designers Tanner Richie and Fletcher Kasell; Real Housewife Jessel Taank; editors Laura Regensdorf and Maya Allen; stylists Dione Davis, Solange Franklin Reed, and Becky Akinyode; advisors Nazy Nazhand and Sharon Coplan Hurowitz; artist Raque Ford; and model Yvesmark Chery.

Cause for FOMO: Light bites and signature cocktails were curated by Michelin-starred chef Daniel Boulud. What could go better with a New York sunset?
