This year, Loro Piana has made the most of the moment through a recent collaboration with Charlotte Chesnais. The result is a limited-edition collection of candle holders—made from arcing loops in shades of silver, bronze, and gold—that blend the Italian brand's understated elegance with the French jeweler's eye for minimalist design that catalyzes an interaction between an object and its setting. Perched on a mantle or bookshelf and illuminated with a lit candle, the pieces make an ideal timepiece for watching the hours drift by on winter evenings.
The Loro Piana pieces, which come in three concentric styles (a coiled single loop, a clean modernist double loop, and a taller and more eye-catching triple loop) epitomize the brand's commitment, shared by Chesnais, to distinctive craftsmanship and ease. The limited collection is making its debut at Loro Piana’s Miami boutique this week at Art Basel Miami Beach through December 3, and will subsequently be sold online.
