Last night, guests gathered in the lower level of COS's Soho store—one of the brand's three NYC locations—to witness a conversation between Dia Art Foundation curator Alexis Lowry, artist Landon Metz and Cultured executive editor Isabel Flower, on the occasion of Dia's current installation of early sculptures by seminal Korean artist Lee Ufan, curated by Lowry. Flower moderated a discussion that touched upon the significance of Lee and the Moho-ha school's role in international dialogues surrounding minimalism, post-minimalism and site-responsive art making, while also relating these topics to contemporary practice, such as that of Metz, who is represented in New York by Sean Kelly. Guests sipped champagne and enjoyed a 20% discount on everything in the store, from ebullient holiday party-worthy separates to cashmere loungewear.
