The annual India Art Fair celebrated an eclectic mixture of contemporary pop-art and traditional pieces from February 9-12 this year. Taking care to center art and artists' voices, the fair is one of India's most widely anticipated, and for good reason. Featuring exhibitions that examine Indian hertiage and aesthetics, and with group shows reflecting on the experiences of gender-based violence, the fair attracted a large and diverse array of people. The experience was captured faithfully by photographer Roeg Cohen for CULTURED, with commentary by Los Angeles-based artist Sam Tuvesson.
