Seen here is a room in Argentinian artist Tomás Saraceno’s Berlin studio devoted to his study of spiders. These studies form the basis of his ‘Arachnophilia’ project—one he began researching in 2006. On the occasion of his exhibition “Algo-r(h)i(y)thms” at Esther Schipper, our friends from Berlin Art Link went to visit his studio to learn how this research translates into Saraceno’s multi-sensory, immersive practice.
