Nanuku Resort
Pacific Harbor, Fiji Islands

In the morning, wake up to the sunrise over Beqa Lagoon, instead of a sidewalk that needs to be salted. The suites, villas, and residences at this idyllic resort abut 500 acres of the beachfront, and each features private pools and gardens for those who simply want to look out over the waters. During the day, an onsite spa, hiking, and fishing are all near at hand. In the evening, guests can head down to the Kanavata Restaurant and Lounge for fresh seafood and other local specialties.

Etéreo, Auberge Collection
Riviera Maya, Mexico

At Etéreo, guests reside atop a deep mangrove forest set alongside the white sand beaches of Kanai. Awarded two keys by the Michelin Guide this year, the resort features a sprawling spa and three restaurants helmed by Executive Chef Carlos Segura, who sources his food from an array of local farmers. Snorkeling, cooking classes, wine clubs, and more round out the bounty on offer at the resort for year-round visitors.

Montage Los Cabos
Los Cabos, Mexico

This Montage property spans 39 acres along the beachfront of Santa Maria Bay in Los Cabos. Each of the resort’s 122 rooms and 52 residences offers expansive ocean views, steps away from a 40,000-square-foot spa. Guests are also welcome to visit the 18-hole golf course, reserve a cabana by the pool for all-day lounging, or arrange a swim with dolphins before retiring for a meal at one of the site’s four Mexican dining concepts.

Hana-Maui Resort
Maui, Hawaii

Set along a secluded stretch of Maui’s eastern shore, the Hana-Maui Resort offers singular views of green mountains, waterfalls, and the ocean. Waterfront bungalows and garden suites alike prioritize tranquil retreat with a distinct lack of screens and emphasis on privacy. In the evening, guests are welcome to reemerge for a trip to the farm-to-table Hana Ranch restaurant, featuring a selection of island specialties.

Grand Hyatt Baha Mar
Nassau, Bahamas

A trip to the Baha Mar is a vacation unto itself. The 1,800 guests rooms and 230 suites provide access to 45 restaurants, bars, and lounges throughout the resort, as well as to the Baha Bay, a 15-acre water park. There’s a racquet club with pickleball courts, a golf course, miniature golf course, full-service spa, wildlife sanctuary, casino, and more. But rest assured, relaxation is still on the menu. The expansive pools and waterfront lined with lounge chairs see to that.
