This year’s edition of Miami Art Week opened on an A.I.-run, surrealist landscape, complete with shimmering steel towers and an endless horizon. But that’s exactly how artist Marco Brambilla sees the future unfolding. Earlier this week, Golden Goose and the Wolfsonian–FIU Museum and Research Center co-hosted a toast to “Marco Brambilla: After Utopia,” a series of the artist’s dreamscapes on view through March 1.
The Occasion: The opening celebration offered attendees a first look at Brambilla’s new show. The event was co-hosted by Golden Goose after collaborating with the Italian artist at the brand’s HAUS in Venice, during this year’s Biennale.
The Scene: Guests gathered at a gallery-turned-salon inside the Wolfsonian, lit by looping vistas from “After Utopia” and packed with visitors drifting in the soaring screens.
The Crowd: Those in the crowded room included photographer Ellen von Unwerth; artists Steven Sacks, Sarah Morris, Pegah Farahmand, and Kozo; arts leaders Anne Pasternak, Sam Keller, and Raymond Bulman; gallerist Jay Jopling; patrons Jacqueline Weld Drake and Kyle DeWoody; chef Rob Li; models Yovanna Ventura, Zarina Yeva, and Angie Landaburu; and basketball player Josh Richardson.
Cause for FOMO: Dream Makers at Golden Goose Miami Design District continued the celebration for another special Co-Creation moment open to all. Clients had the opportunity to personalize Golden Goose products with graphics designed by M/M (Paris) and Marco Brambilla throughout Miami Art Week until December 7th.
