The brand Tom Ford has always understood the power of a gaze—ever since the line sprung onto the scene in 2005, redefining Hollywood glamour with sharp tailoring and a new American sensuality. This December, the brand is bringing that heat to Miami through their first eyewear-only pop-up, staged during Art Basel on the beach facing the Miami Beach EDITION.
The sand-situated installation brings together their full Eyewear family—Core, ICON, and the Private Collection. Visitors will also have the opportunity to try on and purchase exclusive styles from the Fall/Winter 2025 runway by Creative Director Haider Ackermann, alongside classical mainstays like the Bronson and Fausto lenses. The Private Collection is typically reserved for a selection of global Tom Ford locations, but will touch down to meet discerning collectors with an eye for the rare and precious.
Like any Tom Ford space, the pop-up—just steps from the rhythm of crashing waves—sees fashion meet moody, elevated interiors. Chrome, marble, and satin offer a sculptural interplay of reflections and open space, highlighting the brand’s pervasive tension between strength and seduction. Eyewear is presented throughout the room not only as accessory, but as objects of design intended to be collected and studied, as much as worn.
The Art Basel installation offers visitors a rare, immersive look at the House’s heritage—frames here have appeared anywhere from red carpets to meticulously-produced editorial spreads. The pop-up highlights the brand’s penchant for adorning loyal fans with distinctly dark, angular flair. Amidst a flurry of fairs, parties, and shopping opportunities, guests are invited to rank themselves among the chosen few.
This year at Art Basel, experience the Tom Ford Eyewear pop-up from Dec. 4-6 at the Miami Beach EDITION.
