On November 7, benefit!—bulthaup’s annual fundraiser in support of the nutrition-focused non-profit Common Threads—headed to the West Coast for the first time, its past celebrations having taken place in Chicago and Miami. Members of LA’s architecture, design and art community were given the opportunity to reinterpret bulthaup’s signature trays, the results of which were available for purchase during a silent auction. The auction was followed by a reception in collaboration with Wine by Winc, K2 Restaurants, SocialEats, Street Noods, Supertoro, and Cada Vez, and attendees raised more than $5,000 for Common Threads’ mission of foregrounding health and home-cooking for children and families.
