On October 5, Cultured and LALA celebrated Artadia’s 20th Anniversary and 5 years of Artadia Awards in Los Angeles at Blum & Poe. The afternoon luncheon was co-hosted by Artadia’s 14 LA Awardees, including 2018 Awardee and Young Artist alumni EJ Hill, who unveiled his new neon Artadia edition, “Declaration #3.” Guests were greeted with Wally’s Wines and Yola Mezcal cocktails in the garden and proceeded upstairs into the gallery for a festive fall luncheon catered by Chef Marlene Bernstein. The event featured Artadia Awardee table-top editions by Nick Cave, Bethany Collins, Trenton Doyle Hancock, Rachel Hecker, Leslie Shows, Hank Willis Thomas and Summer Wheat. Among those in attendance were Artadia Awardees Kerry Tribe, Clarissa Tossin, and Cayetano Ferrer, along with Jeff Poe, Esther Kim Varet, LALA Editor-In-Chief Jessica Kantor, Anne Ellegood, Olivia Marciano, Ron and Kohshin Finley, Terri and Michael Smooke and Kelly Lamb.
