This Sunday, Saturn returned and headed straight for the Public Hotel to celebrate Lou Dallas’ toothsome new SS20 collection. Besides the extraterrestrial guests, there were familiar faces around the dinner table; artists and curators like Taylor Trabulus, Elizabeth Englander and Emma McMillan who had been on the morning’s runway were now in their own Lou Dallas inspired drag and drinking on the hotel balcony under stars that couldn’t be seen through New York’s own light field. A communal moment amidst the chaos of fashion week was calming for all involved.
