Ryan Murphy just spent nine episodes reminding America why it can’t quit the Kennedys. Now, hospitality mainstay San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, California is offering something his FX series Love Story couldn’t: the chance to live like them—at least for a couple days. Seventy years after John and Jackie Kennedy spent their honeymoon at San Ysidro Ranch, the property is leaning into the legacy with the American Icon Experience at the Kennedy Cottage, a two-night, immersive package that puts guests at the center of this storied chapter in American history.

Mrs. Kennedy ordered her Negroni stirred here, and the 35th president sailed the blue waters that front the property. The centerpiece of the stay is the cottage itself, a 2,700-square-foot historic residence dressed in fresh-cut flowers and luxurious linens—all details calibrated to evoke the couple’s understated elegance. To top off the visit, a personalized salon treatment nods to the First Lady’s beauty routine, while a horseback riding lesson allows guests to enjoy one of her greatest passions.

JFK gets his due, too. At the property’s bar, guests can find New England-inspired libations, with curated wine and whiskies selected according to the president’s preferences. Care for a private sailing excursion? Or a croquet match that evokes summer days in at the Kennedy compound in Hyannis Port? Both can be arranged, along with a candlelit dinner accompanied by Frank Sinatra and other music from the era.

San Ysidro Ranch is well equipped to offer lush relaxation even during a typical stay. But for those looking for a an especially romantic experience, why not weekend like the Kennedys?
