At Chateau Marmont on Wednesday evening, Bvlgari Creative Director of Leather Goods and Accessories Mary Katrantzou and CULTURED Editor-in-Chief Sarah Harrelson gathered their communities to ring in Bvlgari’s new Icons Minaudière collection. The high-gloss Maison’s energy slipped seamlessly into the rhythm of a Los Angeles evening. The effect was fleeting but electric: a you-had-to-be-there convergence of Hollywood, the art world, and fashion’s inner circle.
The Occasion: A celebration of Bvlgari’s Icons Minaudières—jewel-box evening companions that are primed for the perfect night out—co-hosted with CULTURED.
The Locale: In the storied Penthouse 64 of the Chateau Marmont, slender red candles twinkled between an array of tables dotted with flowers by Bia Blooms and calligraphy materials by Jolly Seul. Guests navigated the buzzing, low-lit interior space and a balcony replete with cocktails and sweeping views of the LA skyline.
The Crowd: With an industry-best portfolio of revelers across entertainment, art, and fashion gathering at the Chateau, one may have spotted actors Camila Mendes, Cazzie David, Supriya Ganesh, Storm Reid, Dree Hemingway, Adeline Rudolph, Maika Monroe, and Tommy Martinez; producer Mara Brock Akil; movement director Stephen Galloway; artists Lauren Halsey, Emma Webster, Kim McCarty, Tidawhitney Lek, and Lauren Quin; dealers Shaun Regen, Emma Fernberger, Hannah Hoffman, and Anthony Salvador; arts leaders Casey Fremont, Carolyn Clark Powers, and Alex Rojas; CULTURED Contributing Fashion Director Kate Foley; and art patrons Joy Simmons, Candace Nelson, Danielle Barr, and Kelly Cannon.
Cause for FOMO: A cheeky smoke break on the balcony revealed the night’s most surprising treat of all: the glow of a rare pink moon.
Food and Drink: Attendees snacked on yellowtail crudo and a crisp Caesar salad before enjoying decadent plates of lemon tagliatelle, seared Branzino, and sumptuous servings of tiramisu.
Parting Gift: Each guest parted with CULTURED and Bvlgari’s co-developed mini-magazine—a tribute to the Maison’s Minaudière collection and a collectible item in its own right.
