On March 28, artist Shirin Neshat and Fariha Róisín held a conversation at NeueHouse in New York City to discuss Neshat’s latest movie Looking for Oum Kulthum. Róisín, in extension of the profile she penned for the Film Issue, dug into the ideas that drive Neshat’s work and the complexities of its creation and reception.
