Cultured presents Anderson Ranch Arts Center’s second annual “Inside My Studio” summer series. Directed and produced by Dennis Scholl, the series features nine artists and launches with Ai Weiwei discussing the demolition of his studio by the Chinese government and his new space in Berlin. “A studio is very much like the base where you can conceptualize and structure,” he says. “It is not a place for attack.” The iconic conceptual artist breaks down what a studio really is and why it might not be a physical space for some.
