As the sun set and the ocean breeze wafted through art advisor Monica Kalpakian's terraced Miami apartment, we thought fondly—and briefly—of our New York friends who were braving the cold up north. As we braced for the week ahead, with Nolet's Gin and Whispering Angel in hand, we enjoyed the co-mingling of aligned circles, glad to have an evening of old spirits and new connections.
