Attendees of the Bass Ball last Saturday get to claim both, thanks to the Alexander McQueen-backed fundraiser which helped bring in critical capital for the museum’s special exhibitions and ongoing programming. Inspired by Romanticism, the evening offered a reprieve not only from the regular calendar year but from the chaos of the contemporary mindset, if only for dinner.
