DESCRIBE A RECENT CROSSROADS AT WHICH YOU FOUND YOURSELF.
To take the role in An Enemy of the People, I had to move to New York and that was a big shift. But ultimately, it was an easy decision because I’d been wanting to move to New York and it was such an incredible opportunity.
WHEN YOU WERE LITTLE, WHAT WERE YOU KNOWN FOR?
I wouldn’t stop talking. And I had a lot of opinions about things that supposedly shouldn’t concern me, like politics.
WHAT DO YOU WANT TO SEE MORE OF IN YOUR INDUSTRY? LESS OF?
I would love for things to be less contrived, for people to be more interested in expressing themselves in their own style. Less manufactured and perfect. I’d like for there to be more “humanness,” especially with regard to standards of beauty and self-expression.
