Champalimaud Design, The Emory Suite.

In a city steeped in history, The Emory offers something fresh. London’s first all-suite hotel has arrived in Belgravia as a sleek architectural beacon, its bold, skeletal facade reshaping the skyline over Hyde Park. Conceived by the late Richard Rogers and Ivan Harbour of RSHP, the design—a masterclass in modern architecture—draws inspiration from billowing sails, seamlessly blending contemporary innovation with a reverence for timeless craftsmanship.

Inside, The Emory transforms into an intimate urban sanctuary. Across nine meticulously designed floors, suites dreamed up by visionaries like Pierre-Yves RochonPatricia Urquiola, and Champalimaud Design exude both comfort and precision. Every element—from the textures of the furnishings to the carefully curated artwork—reflects a new high-water mark in hospitality.

The Champalimaud suite embodies a balance of thoughtful contrasts: serenity coexists with urban vibrancy, and art blends seamlessly with utility. Bleached black limba wood panels and herringbone floors radiate warmth and sophistication, while a hidden backlit vanity offers a quiet, reflective retreat. This suite is more than a place to unwind—it transforms rest into an art form, elevating simplicity into an experience that feels both deeply personal and intentionally crafted.

The Emory’s central steel staircase, painted in a vibrant hue dubbed ‘Richard Rogers Pink,’ is a bold tribute to the late architect’s vision. Visible from the hotel entrance, this architectural flourish fast becoming a calling card.

Upstairs, the rooftop presents yet another moment of respite—a secluded oasis with panoramic city views, glass pavilions, and The Emory Rooftop Bar—offers a refined escape where elegance and privacy converge.

But The Emory is more than a hotel; it’s a complete experience. Guests are enveloped in bespoke service, from seamless private airport transfers to the attentiveness of dedicated Emory Assistants, ensuring that every need is anticipated. Beneath the hotel lies the Surrenne wellness club, a subterranean retreat offering state-of-the-art facilities and tranquil spaces for relaxation and rejuvenation.

As much a work of art as a destination for the discerning traveler, The Emory sets a new benchmark in London’s luxury hospitality landscape.
