The sun is rising at Ferragamo. Last night, Nov. 17, Cultured gave guests a first look at the brand under the new vision of creative director Maximilian Davis. Cultured Founder Sarah Harrelson and Ferragamo CEO Daniella Vitale hosted guests for a celebratory dinner at Michelle and Jason Rubell's home. The event brought together a collection of friends from the magazine, actors, writers, and other creatives, with attendees including Gabriela Medina, Sira Pevida, Claire Holt, Alex Gartenfeld, David Martin, Vita Sidorkina, Andrew Joblon, Ines Rivero, and Kevin and Alexandra Wilkis Wilson.

At the event, Vitale offered a toast and a chance for guests to peruse the collection of art on display. A New Dawn, Davis's aptly-titled debut collection features logo-emblazoned knitwear, glittering garments, and Gancio silhouette heels. Originally shown on the runway this past September during Milan Fashion Week, it was inspired by founder Salvator Ferragamo’s time in Old Hollywood and the modern sensibilities of present-day movie magic. The designer's mix of West Coast aesthetics and trademark Ferragamo craftsmanship signal a bright future for the fashion house.
