We are in Los Angeles driving with Alex Prager on the highway, licking in the last rays of her recent Lehmann Maupin exhibition, “Play the Wind.” The show’s title comes from the artist’s most recent film, featuring performances by Dimitri Chamblas and Riley Keough, a dreamscape narrative set in the complex urban fabric of the city.

We see glimpses of Prager’s magical Los Angeles in this behind-the-scenes video, made in collaboration with Dropbox. Here, the artist doesn’t reveal her tricks, but rather the ways her team works together to make the dream come to life.
