Aspen Art Week is always a marathon. The air is thin and the bubbles are plentiful. This year was particularly bittersweet with Aspen Art Museum CEO & Director Heidi Zuckerman making her final lap before stepping down from her 14-year-long-run this fall. Traditions held for her departure with festivities kicking off at Amy and John Phelan's house for WineCrush. The tried and true pairing of vintage bottles and contemporary art once again went down smoothly with everyone including artists like Lisa Yuskavage, Mickalene Thomas and Nari Ward. From there, the celebrations escalated with a flurry of lunches including Cultured's bash with Moda Operandi.

On Friday night, the climax, ArtCrush, raised $2.3 million for the museum's curatorial and educational programming and honored Lisa Yuskavage with the Aspen Award for Art in advance of her solo exhibition at the museum in 2020.
