Summer Fridays have a laziness that creeps up on you and on August 2nd that syrupy feeling translated into what musician Ian Isiah called out as, "soul session vibes." The occasion? Cultured's first party at the Rose Bar in celebration of the summer music issue and cover star Dev Hynes who took to the baby grand for a free-flowing set with friends Isiah, Zsela, Eva Tolkian and Onyx Collective. Ensconced in the Julian Schnabel-designed room, the intimate concert took on the quality of a living room jam session with friends. The crowd was certainly full of them from 30 Under 35 alums like Korakrit Arunanondchai, Meriem Bennani, Ajay Kurian and Madeline Hollander to filmmaker Naima Ramos-Chapman and Lou Dallas's Raffaella Hanley.
