It is not every year that Cultured gets to celebrate Jeffrey Deitch with a birthday pool party but last night, we did. Taking over the iconic curator’s home in the hills, we toasted Deitch’s health in good company, namely Prospect NY’s Laura Currie and designer Misha Kahn who helped set the celebratory scene with a Cultured Commission pool float (get yours here). The night was predictably free flowing with guests like Kilo Kish, Eli Goree, Alex Israel and Alma Har’el making their laps around the pool. Diedrick Brackens and Alex Anderson decided to take a swim, while others refreshed themselves with Atay tea and Peroni. The rhythm of the evening was kept alive by DJ Suga Shay and the evening’s live performer San Cha.
