New York-based artists Mickalene Thomas and Derrick Adams celebrated each other’s birthdays with three days of festivities—which has become an annual tradition. Thomas and Adams, who met at Pratt in the 90s as undergrads, invited friends and family—including collector and art consultant Racquel Chevremont, actress Sherry Bronfman and writer Antwaun Sargent—to join them for a weekend-long celebration that ended with a private dinner and lavish after party at the New York Edition Hotel.
