On November 7, Emmanuel Gintzburger, CEO of Alexander McQueen, and Massimiliano Gioni, Edlis Neeson Artistic Director at the New Museum, co-hosted this year’s NextGen Dinner to celebrate artist Kaari Upson and her remarkable contributions to contemporary art. The Los Angeles–based artist’s exhibition “Kaari Upson: Good thing you are not alone” at the New Museum marked her first New York institutional presentation in 2017. Notable guests included Cultured founder Sarah Harrelson, Josh Kline, Mika Rottenberg, Jamian Juliano-Villani, Jamillah James and Soo Joo Park.
