On March 9, Hèrmes touched down in Downtown L.A for an immersive experience: DwntwnMen. Véronique Nichanian, artistic director of the men’s universe at Hèrmes, along with graphic artist Anthony Burrill, turned seven slogans that captured the essence of the spring-summer 2017 collection into a surreal environment for one night only. The evening’s runway show tapped into the L.A art and design scene, with guest models Philippe Vergne, Roman Alonso and Mark Lee. A performance by Cold War Kids captured one of the event’s slogans, “It All Makes Sense,” and “Give the Joy Back,” was lived out in the game room, replete with basketball court.
