Cultured celebrates Hugo Boss Prize Winner Anicka Yi

On May 4, Cultured‘s founder, Sarah Harrelson, and the Park Hyatt held an intimate dinner at Bevy, a new American restaurant helmed by Chef de Cuisine Chad Brauze, to celebrate Anicka Yi‘s solo debut at the Guggenheim Museum. The 2016 Hugo Boss Prize winner’s experimental installations examine how contemporary anxieties about gender, class and race shape how we perceive our surroundings. Her show, “Life is Cheap,” will be on view through July 5.
